I recently built my own pc with these components:
- Intel i5 3570K
- Corsair Vegeance 1x8GB
- Cooler Master B600 600W PSU
- Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H
- Scythe Mugen 3 Rev.B SCMG-3100
- Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II
So when I built my pc everything was working fine for 2 days. After that, the graphics card did not give any signal. So I RMA the graphics card and now I have a new one. I inserted the card in the slot, connected the powercable of the videocard and switched the powerbutton. Nothing happened. I removed the card but my computer still won't turn on. I've checked the powerswitch cables and the psu cable etc but nothing is wrong. Is my pc still fixable? If you need more info just ask.
Are you getting any beep codes?
No, nothing happends. No beeps, no fans running.
So no power?

Yeah
have you tried to get the power on using a jumper?

No, but I'll try
Might be the board that's stuffed.
Well that didn't work..
The board or the PSU?
I tried it on the Power + and - pins.
Strip it down. Make sure the PSU starts by jumping it (I think it's black to green but don't jump anything without actually googling it first), then add CPU, RAM, video card, physical media.
I'll try that!

Well, that works :D The PSU is turning on and everything that is still connected to the psu of course, is my motherboard corrupted?
I don't know how, but I fixed it!

Probably a loose connection then. But look out, I've had similar issues (PSU starting by jumper, but problems turning the computer on) and it turned out to be the PSU anyway. I'm not the PSU authority but it could be very unstable voltage - very low or very high voltages should make the motherboard not turn on.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it.
