We get a lot of animals in our backyard and I was looking for a good camera that not only records but also shows a live feed of what's going on. I was looking at something like this but it was a quick 5 second search and was wondering if there were better options out there.
Has to work during night time since that's when they typically come. We get foxes, raccoons, and coyotes coming out all the time and we have a basic little trail camera but it doesn't do the job too well. Thanks!
If you'd rather cheap out and don't mind a little bit of DIY I'd rather buy used CCTV cams and link up BNC cables. Then find a DVR or security monitor that takes multiple inputs. I get a lot of CCTV equipment at work and the bulk of it is pretty bulletproof, aside from CRT monitor burn-in and cameras missing lenses. So something like this,

Or if you wanna cut down on cables you can find dome cameras powered by ethernet and just watch the streams on a computer.
Hikvision.
Hands down best brand, can be configured over web, windows program and run on a phone app.
Heaps of different options, domes, turrets etc. You can get a Ethernet connected in or WAN.
easy to get up and running, basically foolproof. Costs about $100 USD on aliexpress.
SECURE LIFE shop is the best I've found for them. They expressed warranty DOA camera back to me for no extra, and were really good to me.
