Jesus with the prices on these you'd be better off just buying a cheap laptop for school and getting a full PC on the side.

Did all of those people I knew used thier student loans absolutely.

In any case, I recommend just getting one good enough to run shit like pre-Skyrim Bethesda games and stuff like Civ5 at 50+ fps if you really need to take your games with you. It's kinda like how my school provided laptops but I brought mine anyway because it was massively better and was quite a bit more useful for any sort of work.
