• Flash Drive is RAW, can't format

So a few days ago, I loaned my flash drive to a friend so he could install some useful programs, he told me he got some error and couldn't get it working. I gave the programs on a different flash drive and I came back to find my flash drive in a RAW format. I've searched the web, I've cleaned it with DISKPART, tried formatting it, but what ever I do it goes back to RAW. I'll try to provide photos of stuff like Disk Management if it helps.
Try a Gparted live CD.
I seem to have some kind of incompetence in using this program, I'll report back once I try running it off of a CD. [editline]24th September 2012[/editline] Having a bit of trouble with this program, I can't figure out how to use it. Let alone start it. On my Windows PC it skips to windows and my Linux PC won't boot at all.
Use this: http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197 If it doesn't work, try formatting in FAT32 first.
I tried that program already, but I've figured out how to load up Gparted, so I'll fiddle with it later.
So I was able to get Gparted working, it can't seem to help me either, when I make a new partition table, any setting that isn't msdos gives me an error message, any other setting will, but msdos doesn't do anything either. I'm beginning to wonder if something may be physically wrong with the flash drive.
