• Memory leak? Non paged pool rises rapidly
    3 replies, posted
I was watching some YouTube videos while downloading something on steam and I noticed my pc being really slow. Opened up task manager and I saw 98% of my ram being used so I closed everything down and it still took up 98% of my ram. RamMap said it was Nonpaged pool. I reinstalled my drivers and restarted and now it seems to be rising again. Any ideas what could be the cause of this?
Network driver memory leak good luck fixing that shit. I haven't got any idea how to fix that. Maybe it's this https://bluebluewave.wordpress.com/2014/02/27/memory-leak-in-windows-8-1-with-killer-e2200-and-windows-network-data-usage-monitoring/
I've had the same problem, and it was my Killer network driver. If you have the Killer Network Suite, try uninstalling it and just getting the drivers here
Well I don't have that network driver, I have realtek instead. However, I narrowed it down to steam and downloading games from it. It doesn't seem to happen when downloading files in general but I'll have to do some more digging. And yes, I updated all of my drivers and did a virus scan too
