I just bought this card, but I dont know how to get it to put out. Anyone know how to force PCI-E in a Asus M3A78-CM?
Wait what? You want to put the card in or pull it out?
Put it in, normaly it would detect it. But I have to force it out the PCI-E for the card to work right.
Anyone??

What do you mean "force out the PCI-E card"?
I need the board to only use the PCI-E socket. I need to disable the onboard video card, so this one will work.

No, if i disable the bios nothing will work at all.
No, if i disable the bios nothing will work at all.
Then something is wrong.
There should be a option in the BIOS to tell the board that the PCI-E card is the main video.
no you enter the bios and disable the onboard you need the external card plugged in while you do this
So I have to have a card init, then go into bios? Mmmmkay, there is no function that shuts it off.
Can you boot into windows and go into the device manager and see if theirs a unknown icon by a display adapter? [editline]10:31PM[/editline] And look at this article: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?board_id=1&model=M3A78-CM&id=20090715181019265&page=1&SLanguage=en-us In his case the card was defective.
