• Question about a new monitor

So. Since my current Dell SE198WFP LCD monitor is making alot of whining lately I have been looking up a new monitor. Until I found a ASUS VS247H monitor, they claim it to be LED (Not that I give a damn about what technology it is, as far as the image is decent for the display's price). The monitor I have been looking at, what do you guys say about it? I managed to find it on a store for 166 euros. http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VS247H/#overview I'm mostly looking for monitors that do NOT have a external power supply. But a monitor that has direct AC in. If anyone knows other monitors which are very good for their price I like to know! Thank you for everyone that wants to help!
Almost every recent monitor is LED. It just means that it uses LED's for backlight instead of ccfl tubes. The image is a bit better, white a bit whiter and its a bit more energy efficient and flat. In the end its still an LCD though.
