I have a pentium 4 server running Windows Server 2003; and usually whenever i remote desktop it and check what's wrong with and what's going on with it, it tends to freeze up and then no functions of it work at all until i restart it by hitting the switch.
I have formatted several times and no luck, and my other slower server was more stable (but it didnt have SATA).
Could the problem be the RAM that's screwed? I hope it's that simple.
Are you certain it's not the remote desktop that is freezing and not the whole machine? Are you running it headless or can you check using a monitor and keyboard?
If it isn't the remote desktop and the machine is actually locking up you should try memtest - http://www.memtest.org/. That is sounding like a memory problem though have you made sure to check temperatures too?
I'll try out the program, but I am pretty sure the computer itself is locking up; since none of the services i want it to do go through after it freezes. (File sharing, printing)

Oh, it's a bootable thing, I'll probably do this on monday.
