Just curious what you think. I think all opinions are equally credible, no matter how bad they sound (to me) Edit: when I say "bad" opinions, I mostly mean opinions that everyone thinks is bad, not just you. That'll make the question too easy to answer.
In my opinion, all disputes should be resolved via rounds of Mortal Kombat. Not the video game. Kung-fu fights to the death.
if theres absolutely no logic to it then I think it should be ignored. but if theres even the slightest bit of logic behind it then it could be considered.
there's always a bad opinion in regards to any situation say for example we have an overpopulation problem. good opinions would be that we should subsidize birth control and abortion, or that we should institute a one child per household law, or that we adjust tax breaks on households with children. a bad opinion would be that we should round up all the colored folk and feed them to the dogs.
Of course there's such thing as a bad opinion. If it doesn't make sense at all or is poorly backed up then it shouldn't even be considered.
Yes, if you disagree with Rusty your opinion is wrong
Yes. An opinion such as "We should stop funding space travel because its useless" is horrible uneducated and is bad.
an opinion founded on misinformation could be considered wrong
There are some dumb people out there that say some real stupid shit. Most opinions are equal, then there is saying all Jews / Gays should be gassed or people who have an "Opinion" That the earth is flat.
The way I'm thinking about it is that for each "bad" opinion, there is at least one other person out there in the world that thinks that it's a good opinion, thus that opinion isn't truly bad. (I'm talking about opinions that should be ignored by everybody) For example, would you agree that "The Xbox One is better than the PS4" is a "bad" opinion and should be ignored by everyone? I'm sure lots of people at Microsoft think this is a good opinion, and others who think Microsoft's direction with an always-online console is a good idea.[sp]even though their execution of it is terrible[/sp] Of course, if the question were to be "are there opinions that most/ a vast majority of people consider 'bad'?", which is a very simple question, then the answer would obviously be yes.
Yes. But thats just my opinion.
My opinion is the only one that matters.
I was thinking about this yesterday. Yes there are extreme opininons that are bad or wrong, for example; "Everyone in the world should die" is never a good opinion.
Bad opinions are ones that are clearly wrong or uninformed. That's not say we should ignore them, it's best to rebut and educate.
