Alright so iv had this USB zboard for a while now, few years. I like it because of the layout of the keys in the default key set.
Whenever I start the computer, I either have to shift+tab to get my 2 key to work, or it will turn down the volume by 2% every time its pressed, or it will automatically be on, but if that is activated, my "c" key doesn't work, it just respondes as the "." key with ">" as the shift.
The only way "c" is in here is because I'm copying and pasting it in lol.
Any help would be great, thank. I also don't want to get a new keyboard, and I already installed the latest driver for it from steelseries.com
Buy a saitek keyboard. Much more reliable and is probably one of the best keyboards around.
I really don't want to buy a new one, but do you have any recommendations? I like the zboard layout with the keys closer together, i only use the default keyset, and theres no space in-between the arrow keys and the Delete, End, and Page down keys.
Check that the keyboard is set up correctly in windows; it might be recognizing the keyboard as a foreign layout.
Check your language settings in control panel.
Your C key is probably busted strange I know.
Says its set up as English(US)

Under the key sets are just little rubber buttons that are just circles, i found the c key and pressed it, and it was a c instead of .
Only does it with this key set it seems, which is just a default keyboard key set.
I've read that zBoard software sometimes has a hard time recognizing the keyboard as a zBoard... thats why I didn't buy one.
I had this same problem. I fixed it by taking off the keyset, and at the top right corner of the keyboard there should be 6 gold connectors. Put a small piece of paper covering those, put the keyset back on top, and it should work.

I love you, that worked surprisingly. Rated useful.
