OCZ and B). Refurbished, expect it to die in 1-2 months. Enermax/Corsair/Antec Pick one.
Samsung F3 Spinpoint Drive and what Necro said.
Samsung F3 Spinpoint Drive and what Necro said.
TD doesn't have spinpoint, and I'm not going to Newegg because I have to pay TAAAAAAAAAAAX. OCZ are dodgy. You might aswell get something good like enermax/antec/corsair etc..
Your build is fine, but you can get a lot better for $1000 Optical drive:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106289 Case:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042 HDD:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181 GPU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150476 PSU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004 RAM:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260 Motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130271 CPU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215 $995 If you want to save a bit then you could go down to a 5850. You may also want a better case than the one I suggested as cable management isn't so good on the 300, so you could get this for a bit more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119215

Okay...so if it's too expensive then don't get a 5870, get a 5850. You can overclock the 5850 to speeds similar to those of the 5870 anyway

What that doesn't make a difference if it's clocked higher The i5 is better just more expensive. It's like saying my p4 clocked at 3.2 GHz is better than an i7 clocked at 2.66 GHz
Just wondering guys, is Windows XP ok (temporarily)? My uncle has a spare copy of it and I would save $100 that I could use for a 5870. :3
Yup. You can go after on Windows Seven later.
Yup. You can go after on Windows Seven later.
Awesome, thanks!

Well, fine. I can't find an example but still that's not how it works. The i5 is better but more expensive
