• PC cleaning: How often?

I live in a fairly dusty apartment and Im noting a moderate buildup of dust on the various fans throughout my computer. Im a bit ODC about keeping my shit in good shape, so how often should I be cleaning the case out? Also, should I be removing my graphics card to clean it, and is there any special cleaning procedure for a graphics card? I have an EVGA GTX 570.
It entirely depends on where you keep your PC. If you keep it on the floor rammed under your desk with shit all around it, you'll probably have to clean it once a month since it's sucking up everything off the floor. If you keep it on a desk or high place, you can generally go 3-4 months between cleanings. You could reduce the amount of dust in your apartment by getting a standard 20"x20" box fan and putting one of those $1 furnace filters on the back of it to remove the larger dust particles from the air (make you breathe easier too.) Just don't use one of those corrugated filters because they choke down the airflow too much (and will burn up the motor).
I clean my fan filters every 2 weeks to every month, and blast out the case every 3 months. Vacuuming your rugs helps keep the dust out of the PC as well.
I first cleaned mine after ~4 years of having it with no problems because it's a well designed case. I cleaned it because a spider was living in it.
