• CPU Cooling; Best Around?

Ok guys, I'm looking a godsend of a heatsink/fan (1155 compatible) right now (without needlessly going to water cooling). Truly what is the best on the market at the moment? Budget is $100 and noise is of absolutely NO concern, I don't care if it sounds like a jet engine just as long as it keeps my 2600k as cool as physically possible. Been looking at the Noctua NH-D14's and Noctua NH-C14's and then there's the Thermax Spire Eclipse II Thx in advance guys.
In that case you may as well get an h70 and some delta fans.
I'm trying to stay away from water cooling as much as possible, even if it is closed loop like the h70. Don't get me wrong though, the h70 HAS crossed my mind, but I'd preferably like to stay with air cooling. Has anyone heard anything about the Silverarrow in comparison to the other aforementioned cooling systems?
I have the Noctua NH-D14, it's pretty awesome. Not loud, I have a Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.6GHz, and it's barely reaching 30C.
I'm really looking at the NH-D14 as I have a full tower with plenty of room to spare. What's the difference between the NH-C14 and NH-D14?
Looks like 1 less heat sink, and one fan bigger. I'd assume a little less cooling power, as there's less surface area for it to spread to, but I don't really know. Oh and the air blows upwards instead of towards the back of your case. What kind of case do you have?
Thermaltake Armor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133056&Tpk=thermaltake%20armor%20full%20tower [editline]12th February 2011[/editline] Looks like I'm going with the NH-D14 as everywhere I go it's reviewed as the best, even beating the H70. You'll have no problem fitting it in there. When I got it I was surprised at how large it was, but that was more because I hadn't build a computer myself before.
I got the Noctua NH D-14 aswell, and it's awesome as hell.
