Thank Christ. Sieges have always been the poorest part of any TW game.
I've wanted to get into Total War since always. I once tried it, started some random map or something, ordered my units to attack, they all died, end.

I like sieges myself, but going through them to conquer a province got tedious after a while, especially later in the game once you crack out all the doomstacks and start steamrolling everything in your path.
I liked shogun 2's sieges. More so than any other total war game in that aspect.
Napoleon total war's sieges were fucking awful, and the units would like never do what you wanted if they were on the battlements, which was a giant death trap anyways if they had any artillery.
While I love sieges, one per territory really was too much, you usually had more sieges than battles.

I enjoyed them when I was too young to really fully comprehend the tactical side to it, and I made the mistake of buying the full pack off of Steam later in life thinking I'd enjoy them all. I tried to take a much more serious look at it and boy was I wrong...

I really liked sieges in Medieval II, aside from the occasional poor pathfinding, but otherwise they've been dreadful. I'm glad there will be ways to capture land other than "Stand in this flag marked square for three minutes, woo Sicily is yours!". It'd be even better if objectives changed each time you fought for that territory, to keep it interesting.
good.
always fucking hated sieges
I've always enjoyed siege defense especially in Rome when you could stop an entire army using one group of hoplites
Lots of seiges will be fine if they're even close as epic as the historical Carthage scenario presented as a Demo.
I'm worried about my computers Specs.
