• iPod Touch obtained after being stolen; Restored, can't download old apps that I had before.

So recently, I got my iPod Touch 2nd Gen back from being stolen. It was wiped to get rid of the passcode lock, so I thought, no biggie -- I can just re-install everything on the app store. But to my expense, it's made a living fucking hell. I can't download Jetpack Joyrun, Facebook or Facebook Messenger, Temple Run, Rope N' Fly 2, and other various apps even though I fucking had them before. I'm about ready to throw babies off of a fucking balcony because of this stupid Apple bullshit. I'm not coughing up more money just because a new generation of iDick came out. I currently have my iPod Touch jailbroken with GreenPoison RC6 for iOS Version 4.2.1. Latest version of Cydia loaded on.
Well, unfortunately you're going to have to get a new generation of iDick. Even if you tricked apps into thinking you're on 4.3 or higher, most of them would bug out. If you really want to try, open /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist and change the ProductVersion line to 4.3 (I have heard of some devices refusing to boot back up if they're restarted without changing the string back, be warned).
