Just switched my pc on this morning and am getting faced with this error with most programs. It could have something to do with installing a windows update the day before, so I tried to update it again but it refuses to update now. Any suggestions?
This can be caused by viruses, or program corruption. Try re-installing net framework and Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable. Might also want to check for Malware and/or viruses in the system. If all else fails, restore your PC to a time before the update if you possibly can. Then don't install it again.
