I didn't know anybody actually played that mode for this game It always just seemed like something that was tacked on so they could say it was there
Oh boy, ANOTHER generic mario game that will still sell.
Oh boy, ANOTHER generic mario game that will still sell.
At least they're changing the mechanics around.
So Nintendo is actually experimenting with DLC in their games now? Interesting.
Oh boy, ANOTHER generic mario game that will still sell.
And yet so far none of them have been bad. NSMB and NSMBW were both good games. Super Mario 3D Land was really good too. Until the quality actually starts declining, I see no problem with more Mario platforming games. I think I definitely like the 3D platformers over the sidescrollers, though; if anything I'm hoping for an SM3DL2 somewhere down the line.
The beginning of the end.
welcome to the current gen of games, nintendo!
They just need to make a level editor for this game and include online co-op. Imagine god like hard levels with other players.
Well fuck you too nintendo, looks like valve is the only company who haven't made paid dlc on pc yet. And rockstar games i think.
Portal 2 cosmetics?
That's totally a DLC and adds new content new levels, new zombies and whatever.

YES I LOVE PAID DLC OH MY GOD.
Okay screw what i said earlier looks like every company has gotten mad with the paid dlc :(
Oh boy, ANOTHER generic mario game that will still sell.
There are many variations of Mario games. Actually its more variation than normal games. You get the choice to get a special made kart game, tennis game, even golf game. There's alot of variation under the Mario umbrella. I dont see why people are so pissed off at how one game is generic when you got buckets of games which are with the Mario characters and are more varied than the normal games. IT BEGINS
Well fuck you too nintendo, looks like valve is the only company who haven't made paid dlc on pc yet. And rockstar games i think.
in what world do we live in where the mannco store isn't paid dlc

Sure, there was the two expansion packs, but I don't remember there being any DLC. Although, I suppose it all depends on what you consider DLC.
The beginning of the end.
The end of the beginning.
NSMB is one of my favorite games though. You guys are forgetting that NSMB and NSMBW are two completely different types of games, the DS version is meant to be single player and the Wii version is a party game where you'll end up wanting to murder your friends. They're not just creating reskins. Also this DLC seems stupid. Shine Runners in the Mario Kart series is boring enough.
Ugh, DLC. Not even Nintendo is immune.
nintendo is getting worse than sega for churning out crap and addons no-one needs only people are dumb enough to pay for it this time around
Oh wow nintendo, its like you want to lose the rest of your money.
welcome to the current gen of games, nintendo!
The only reason it's like this is because idiot's bought the stuff regardless and the industry thought this was a sign of acceptance.
nintendo is getting worse than sega for churning out crap and addons no-one needs only people are dumb enough to pay for it this time around
But its mario and mario is always good despite nintendo releasing the same crap for every console they make! :downs:
As long as it keeps updating the game with new content, I won't mind at all. As fun as NSMB(W) was, I felt very little replay value in the game.
Why don't they offer a Mario game with a level editor? It would kick ass and probably sell well.
They said it's going with the theme of the levels, since A. they aren't even normal gameplay levels, and B. it's a money focused mini-game anyway.
