• Need a fan

I just upgraded PSUs to a 460 watt cooler master, and literally, the fan will be almost silent, then spin up to practically max, run there a bit, then go back down, and just repeat. I'm interpreting this as a need for a better case fan, to take the stress off the PSU so that I can still use it for HD playback, without sounding like a hurricane is going around. I'd prefer something with a good balance for budget as well as a good balance for speed + volume. Temps:
Why do you have an E2220
I'll send you my 92mm when I get my 120mm Edit: Wait, US?
anikilol because I hate upgrading processors, my mobo is shit too. This isn't exactly a new computer, and to be honest, the processor doesn't really bother me that much - I run a slim OS with as little shit as possible. slinkman US, quiet?

Here you go:
Find the right fan on this list: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000573&IsNodeId=1&Description=noctua&name=Case%20Fans You won't find better dB(A)/CFM from any other company. A touch on the expensive side, but if it saves you the roar of your PSU, it should be worth it. Plus they're backed by a 6 year warranty, which is ridiculous.
Thanks, I might go with one of those in the end. Out of curiosity, the case is packed pretty tight, would it be better to leave a side of the case off for the time being? I really want to fire up a game and see if it gets bad, but I'm not sure of a max temperature to look for, but what would it be close to? Again, this is coming from a person who's computer's been quiet for the past couple years, and now it sounds like a vornado running on high.
