Okay to start off i know this is not an overheating problem because i have 3 fans running on it and its ice cold and its still freezeing. So sometimes it freezes and then crashes. then after it crashes When it starts up it says "Disk boot failure" then i have to wait lke 20 mins then it will start up again. is it my harddrive thats doing this? I have to run windows vista because i can't find the cd for my motherboard drivers so vista automaticly installs them for me and i don't feel like paying money for something i can just install for free. It's really pissing me off because i do most of my school work on this computer because im an online student. So its not very good when im writing an essay's and it crashes in the middle of it. I am seeking extreme help! Im acually copy/pasting every 10 seconds this post to a notepad so i dont lose it from freezeing. When i open a game for some odd freakin reason it doesn't freeze while i'm playing. But when i get off the game the freezeing happens. Here are my specs please help :)
Just because you have three fans doesn't mean your computer is "ice cold". Post your temps, use hwmonitor. http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php

Well, when my room is too cold my computer freezes.
Well of course your computer will freeze if it's ice cold. :downs: Otherwise, yeah, sounds like a HDD problem.
