• PC Gaming build for 300-700$

I'm going to be running Bad company 2, L4D2, Source games etc. I need a good setup for the budget of 300 dollars and 700 dollars. As long as it can run DX9, Med or High settings on BC2 I'm ok with it.
What can be salvaged from your current build?
What can be salvaged from your current build?
Just a 8400 GS.
LOL, you won't be keeping that. Sell it to a friend or something.
Just a 8400 GS.
What do you mean just an 8400? What happened to the harddrive/disc drive? What form factor is the case?
Im presuming it was originally a prebuilt and they usually try to stuff everything in a small case so i dont think the case will be big enough. You could be able to salvage the harddrive and the disc drive... 300-700$ is a pretty big gap so would you rather spend closer to 400 or get something better for 700...

I can salvage the harddrive and the disc drive But I would much rather have 750 GB, not 320.
WOW thats the first time someone has complemented me on this forum. You're nice. You can just get a second 320gb hdd or something :)

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=18481608 This should be good. The motherboard has 2 PCI-e slots in case you want to get a second 4850 and run them both with crossfire. Also, don't forget the rebate with the PSU. It's a good deal.
