hey guys, i dont usually turn my pc off but i decided to last night and it updated, now i'm getting crazy network spikes which i can't find the root of. this is pinging google.com.au on my home wifi
Ping statistics for 216.58.199.35: Packets: Sent = 30, Received = 30, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 24ms, Maximum = 1238ms, Average = 378ms
and this is the same ping test from my mobile hotspot
Ping statistics for 58.162.61.104: Packets: Sent = 30, Received = 30, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 26ms, Maximum = 319ms, Average = 88ms
i ran wireshark and my wifi is peaking constantly in short bursts every second or so, receiving upwards of 400kb worth of packets and i can't find the source [editline]14th May 2016[/editline] also like to note that my download speed is now limited to 80kb/s on any network not just my home network. it usually downloads at a max of 6mb/s speedtest reports 0.74 mbps down / 1.49 mbps up
Have you tried restarting your router?
