The leveling experience sucks because of the combat and dull quests grinding you have to do to continue with the story quests, I have yet to reach level 50 with any character.
The F2P restrictions, + the fact that Sith/Jedi classes are "press button 1 to win" and the generic skill system. (while bounty hunters, imps and commandos take a bit more skill because of overheat and such).
the game is fine when you sub but fuck the f2p restrictions theyre so bad
Even when you subbed it wasn't that great.
I lose interest very fast when I have to do 5+ uninteresting side missions just to be able to do the next story mission. I kind of liked the story and characters but all the MMO aspects just ruin the fun. It would have been a lot better as a single player/CO-OP game.
Every time I hear "The old republic" I need to be reminded they're referring to that disaster of an mmo instead of knights of the old republic.
lol no it isn't, shut up pcgamesn

I came back to it for about a month. It's a hundred times better now than it was when it launched, but ONLY if you sub. Otherwise just don't even bother, you won't get your time's worth out of the game unless you can access all of it
sorry but that ship has sailed
and sank not so long after, quite tragic (if one could bother to give a shit)

One of my most regretful purchases, and that's saying something considering the shit some companies have brought out these past years, and this entire F2P conversion has been an entire fuck you to me, no benefits at all for old players and at first they offered a bunch of credits, BUT only if you bought something again, what's worse it was on a timer, so when I finally got a urge to play it again and perhaps spend a little on it they were gone, thanks EA, Bioware.

Honestly it's weird to see this game get the F2P model so WRONG, when similar games like Star Trek Online, which came out as a P2P MMO and switched to the F2P model get it so right.
