I have been looking up a laptop to replace my aunt's old dell inspiron that has a tendency to fry power supplies and overload batteries. I've been looking at a few laptops such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220700 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834110409 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220732 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834127045 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220700 She wants the laptop to be an i7, but for the work she does and photoshop an i5 will suffice and give her the >5 hour battery life she wants. Also having an nvidia with cuda would be preferable. She wants a sub 15.6 inch screen size though a tad bigger wouldn't hurt. At the moment these laptops are from a few minutes of looking on newegg. Really if anything can someone recommend some good brands?
That asus is the best but you are not going to get near 5 hours of battery life with any of those.
Been looking a lot into Asus as most people have recommended it just wanted to make sure they're still great. I personally think an i5 with a decent graphics card will suffice for photoshop, but now she tells me that my uncle does video editing on 720p video from his slr. I think an i5 with speedboost will still be fine. Anyone think differently?
for Photoshop? wat
Adobe photoshop ring any bell?
Any particular reason she needs a laptop over a desktop?
Probably works in different places a lot.
