Your computer won't use more than 600 Watts underload. So you can lower the PSU and save some money there. Other than that it looks good to me.
looks good, how much you paying? And what was your budget?

Whoa O.o
Way off. My bad.
Aside from the PSU, mobo and RAM being excessive...
That RAM is 1.65v.
Intel says officially, keep RAM under 1.6 ( http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/dp55wg/sb/CS-030683.htm )
but many people say 1.65 is ok. You probably won't have a problem.
Also, segheyt sucks.
I prefer Western Digital.

Your opinion :/
My seagates have always ran way hot. Whereas my WD only runs at 26C.

No. Seagate is a good brand. I wanna see pictures in HW Monitor that show what you're saying.
I chose the 750w because it had 4 x 6+2-Pin PCIe connectors, the 5870s need 2 each (my plan for upgrading), the motherboard because of the support of 1600mhz ram and the ram because its sweet, all the stuff is red, which is a little bonus :)
Ive decided to swap the seagate to a WD.
[editline]10:46PM[/editline]
How many drives will there be space for, after I have take the hdd cages out (to fit the 5870 in)?
There are molex to PCIe adapters

I'm not saying WD runs hot. I'm saying I wanna see pictures of the Seagate running hot.
why do HDD temps even really matter? I've never once even heard of a HDD overheating, I've never really understood it

If they run to hot it shortens there lifetime.

Why wouldn't HDD temps matter?
Aren't seagate and western digital considered the main companies for hard drives?
Aren't seagate and western digital considered the main companies for hard drives?
Yeah samsung is also good but not as big.

Mac's use Fujitsu they run at about 1500rpm (ones you can buy separately).
They are very nice and really reliable but overpriced to a good extent.
I've used them once and it worked well.
The one in my laptop get's thrown around all the time, and it's a diskette, not the SSD's used now. I've had the laptop for maybe 3 years (since 2006 I believe) and it runs perfectly.
2006 i had no idea of computers so i got the computer my dad bought me.

Would anyone happen to know the answer to this?

According to this review http://www.silentpcreview.com/article810-page3.html
The top cage accommodates up to three 3.5" hard drives vertically on their sides. The lower cage uses trays to accommodate two drives.
Thank you very much.
Op I have that case it is very nice. :3:

Hope you enjoy yours.
I already am, just need a new PSU now so I can move everything over

300 USD cheaper than your first build. Hard drive has three times the capacity (1.5 TB vs 500 gigabytes).
The ONLY problem I have with my build is the power supply, it seems one in five are DOA or die very quickly.
In which case I suggest getting a 750tx.

For 100 dollars extra and a 20 dollar mail in rebate.

I wouldn't recommend an ocz they are not meant for bottom mounted cases.
You could actually just do this:

the case came with some extenders, might have to grab some more
it was slightly used, but for the price of a 300 I think I can put up with a little dust
