Battlefield 3 seems to feel dull for me now, as that "Is it Real?" Graphics gimmick got old real fast (like all graphics gimmicks), and its gameplay just dosent seem very unique or really innovative. Its basicly just Battlefield 2, but with several modern FPS Tropes added because AAA Title.

The game been out for a year and a half, its natural for a game to get boring over time.

I may be ready this wrong, but are you saying good graphics are a gimmick?
Wonder who's doing it. Probably a hack site.
Its basicly just Battlefield 2, but with several modern FPS Tropes added because AAA Title.
uh BF2 feels waaaay tighter, BF3 is floaty somehow. yesterday i shot someone in the head with a shotgun and it took the guy at least two seconds before actually doing the dying animation and ragdolling. in BF2 it was BAM, YOU'RE DEAD, in BF3 it feels like BAM, DID I HIT YOU
i think bf2 and bf3 aren't really similiar, bf3 is more infantry and gunplay driven, whereas bf2 relies on like.. everything. i found myself using teamwork more in BF2 than in BF3.

When you market it as your game's main selling point, then yea.

Because we don't have that many games with such graphics?

So, pretty much every sequel ever?

Probably because BF3 completely fails at encouraging teamwork and its attempts to encourage it are pathetic to begin with. Next to nobody listens to commorose commands, text chat can be slow and is mostly used for petty arguments/insults, and there's literally no in-game VOIP.
BF3 in general was a game that seemed like a fairly competent shooter on the surface, but was really just a completely unfocused mess when you started to dig into it.

i really liked it, but it REALLY needed some fucking teamwork. the only reason to ever be near your teammates is to get revived. i don't have to worry about ammo, healing, or repairs, because i usually go lone wolf as the classes that give out those supplies.
