Hello all,
I've had a problem since late June with my Windows 7 PC. It will not go into sleep mode. I've tried Changing power settings and network settings because I thought it might have to do with Win7's wake on lan feature, but that did nothing. Here's a part of the original quote:
Hello everyone,
This evening, I started up Half Life 2. After the loading screen, the screen turned black and Ctrl+Alt+Del did nothing.
A restart later, the screen was still black. I heard the Logon sound. I toggled my way to Shut Down, and it turned off abnormally fast. Guys, what happened?
I'm not going into spec specifics right now. I have lost EVERYTHING.

SPECS (Ripped from Micro Center)
Intel Core i7-3770
Microsoft Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) [SP1]
8GB DDR3-1333 RAM
1TB 7,200 RPM Hard Drive
SuperMulti DVD Burner
15-in-1 Memory Card Reader
NVIDIA GeForce GT630 [320.18 Driver at the time]
Wireless-N Card
I figure that this happened because I had the New nVidia Driver that was a dud.
I have no idea how to downgrade to before 320.18 was installed, if that was possible. I got off 320.18 and onto the fix as soon as I heard about the problems with it.
If ANYONE had this problem and fixed it, PLEASE tell me! I am fed up with it :(
Can anyone help? Please?
