Hi everyone, so I built a new rig this past spring. I have been using an ethernet cord for awhile but I have since moved my computer and there was no port to plug it into and i couldnt move the router so I got a decent wireless adapter. And from that point on I have had really nice and fast internet, but suddenly this past week it has been so sluggish to the point where I cant even browse the web, the pages done even open. But on my macbook it works fine, and I looked into it and no one else is using the network. Nothing being downloaded. And I cant seem to fix it. Please help. oh and heres the wireless card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833166060 [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline] come on
Link does not work for me, whats your wireless card?
I suggest a wired connection. Better for gaming, web browsing, and just about anything else.
snip... try one of those.. heard they are work real well. this one... http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=13021231&findingMethod=rr plugs into outlet and uses your electrical wiring to do the transferring of data to the modem/router.
reset your router, adapter everything before you buy, play with your settings also until you get something
Run a speedtest see if your line looks usually slow - might be your network card otherwise. http://www.speedtest.net/
