I need a project for my physics class. Something fun that my partner and I can do. Last time I made a Ruben's Tube but now, in physics 115, I need something a little more substantial. Something I can apply calculations and numbers to.

Find out a way to calculate how long a pendulum takes to stop swinging when dropped from a 90 degree angle, the pendulum itself being no longer than 12 inches.
Push a slinky down a bunch of books shaped like stairs. I did that last year and I did great. The teacher said I barely passed!

program a simple physics sandbox, something 2D, with simple mechanics formulas. Also GMOD like ^ said is also a good idea :D.
