Oh man this game. I still think I have the alpha somewhere.
Before someone throws out the Minecraft clone thing. This has been around for a while, and as far as Minecraft combat goes, it does what MC should have done I think, though it's been a while since I played. They had a playable alpha on their site for like a year. THough I don't see it now.
Ugh, more "crunchy pixels". To be honest I've always thought that was a poor excuse for a total lack of artistic talent.
Minecraft has been played since 2009, I don't see how that makes it any less of a clone
My point was the whole adventure update in MC fell flat. If people were looking for a more adventurous title in the same genre this may be what they are looking for.
Holy fucking shit when will people stop comparing everything with minecraft, goddamnit
This looks interesting. It could have better if it had more interesting combat though.
I love going to the community forums for these games and reading all of the comments on how the game looks exactly like Minecraft and how the developer should stop being so lazy and poor and hire an entire team of artists to make the game look better. [editline]6th September 2013[/editline] Here's a good one:
WOW This looks EXACTLY like Paranautical Activity. Same gameplay and graphics...and same game?

Holy fucking shit when will people stop comparing everything with minecraft, goddamnit
I don't see the problem with comparing it, but making them go head to head to some how competing for the same audience is stupid indeed.
My only gripe is he just took those free to use sprites that a lot of games use (Hack Slash Loot, that one MMO shooter thing, and countless others) and just blew them up in size. The combat's alright, and for the price of admission it's a decent little dungeon crawl
I like it, I can't wait for it to grow. I WANT A NETHACK MOD DAMNIT!

I remember playing the free version of this a lot, this is still my most hilarious memory There was a trap directly under a ladder :v:
