Is this still the first Tegra 4 device?
I don't really have a use for one myself, but I could see why someone would want it. The streaming from your pc thing is awesome.
Thank fuck, i thought it was gonna be that $500 or $700 that i saw a while back, i'm probably going to get it, i want to be able to leave my room to play my games. I would prefer a 1080p screen rather than a 720p screen, but you can't have everything.
The PC streaming stuff I'd be interested in, wish I could just get that functionality for cheaper.

So $600 in Australia?

Plus PC games are piss easy to run at that res for most cards these days.
I still wouldn't pay over $150 for that. Even then, $150 just to play my games in a different room or in my bed comfortably isn't really worth it either. I really like the tech due to the low-latency remote gaming, but I don't think the price justifies it.
Yep and distinguishing between the two resolutions would be difficult at this size anyways.
I can distinguish a 720p from a 1080p screen on a phone, I'm pretty sure a screen that size would be more noticeable.

It's pretty hard to view large pictures on these displays. It's even worse if you want to use a remote desktop application without being zoomed in like crazy just to read. I can't wait to check out 1080p when I get a new phone (hopefully a samsung s4).

What Samsung doesn't advertise is that while it has 1920×1080 green subpixels, the number of red and blue subpixels is only half that many, as you can see here: If you want a true 1080p screen, you'll need something with an LCD panel.
