For a while now, I have been having to disable, then re-enable my computer's lan adapter due to my internet going down on my computer and no where else in the house. This happens when running some programs that request a high bandwidth. so far the blizzard download manager has done this, along with trying to do a live stream on justin.tv. However, torrents don't seem to do this. So far I have been planning to buy a network card so that I am no longer using the motherboard's on board network card. Would this fix my problem, or is there something else I could try?
-snip, bad reading-
It's not your isp if other devices work fine. Which network card do you have? Search google and see if anyone has had similar problems. Also could be your router, again look it up also check the settings.
The onboard card is an Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000base-T Controller. And I'm going to google now. And as for my router, it's been doing this for a while now, even before I recently got a new one.
Actually, after looking, I'm not sure if there are proper drivers for Win7 x64 bit computers.
Even worse now. I see that there are no actual drivers for my motherboard that are listed as being for Windows 7, 32, or 64 bit.
