• HAF 932 dust problem?

Hey guys, I've got a problem with my HAF 932. After a couple days of it being on, dust collects on the place where the fans are. This is probably supposed to happen, but is there anything I should do about it? I just clean it off, but anything else to do? Legend: Blue = Dust
Just wipe it off, it's just dust it isn't going to hurt anything.
Well dust on the outside of the case is dust that's not in the case, which is a good thing in my book. Just wipe it off with a dry towel or something.
It's not sitting on a carpet floor is it?
Clean your room more often, It takes more then a couple of days for my pc to show any signs of dust, or my desk for that matter.
It's not sitting on a carpet floor is it?
Nope, wood floor. I guess atleast the dust isn't in the case. I think it's my OCD kicking in, and me not wanting to clean it.
Cleaning my room quite often, but it seems like my Haf 932 is just one big dust-magnet. But it has an awesome airflow, so I ain't complaining. Yes, you're not the only one with the dust problem! :-)
Yeah
It's called intake. When air is being pulled in, tiny dust particles that you can't see are being pulled in too. This is pretty much common sense, no case has some sort of foolproof dust deterrent.

That could work, but I'm not sure how practical or expensive it would be.
Non-practical, just wipe the dust off. Once a month or so you should purchase a can of compressed air and clean out your system.
By some compressed air and blow the dust off.
I use a air-compressor with a blo-gun attachment, saves me a good amount of money and is a bit more powerful then a regular compressed air can.

70-75psi. I don't go above that seeing as it is unneeded.
I use a air-compressor with a blo-gun attachment, saves me a good amount of money and is a bit more powerful then a regular compressed air can.
i would use my dads air compressor, but its 150psi, one of These babies
By some compressed air and blow the dust off.
But then it just flies around the room only to get sucked back in.
But then it just flies around the room only to get sucked back in.
You take the case to another room. :mmmsmug:
But then it just flies around the room only to get sucked back in.
Lol that's why you do it in your garage or outside.
My HAF is like a vacuum, all the dust in my room gravitates towards it.
Lol that's why you do it in your garage or outside.
Why would anyone in their right mind haul a full tower case around the house just to remove the dust from it every month
Why would anyone in their right mind haul a full tower case around the house just to remove the dust from it every month
To remove the dust from it every m-oh, I see what you did. Actually, I've had my HAF 932 for a year now, and it hasn't gathered enough dust to justify my hauling it down a flight of stairs to blast it.
But then it just flies around the room only to get sucked back in.
I'll leave the vacuum on while i dust. Anything that is flying around will get sucked in and the case will actually get clean.
I just turn it off and vacuum the dust away!
