oh wow, didn't even know this was out.
this game is really good it simplifies fighter game combo stuff massively while keeping it complex enough to feel awesome when pulling them off. there's even one hit kills that are behind a complex move combo thing. (not to mention there's a 30 Hour long storyline, full of fucking text and voiceovers)
I've never played a Persona game, but all this talk around P4A make me want to try a title from a genre I usually don't touch (JRPGs). Should I buy Persona 3 off of PSN? Are the stories between each game connected?

After that you can go in whatever direction you want.

Persona 1 and 2 have nothing to do with them so you can skip those and go straight to Persona 3. I suggest playing Persona 3 FES first.
Yeah, FES is the version that's on PSN, and it's only $10. I'll check out some more gameplay and see if I'll be able to get into it, thanks.
also it seems Persona 5 is in development

You can start with Persona 4 if you really want to though, you'll miss some references but nothing major and it takes a bit over 40 hours to beat.
