I was a dumbass to leave my Bose Triport jack outside of the car door. As the car moved the cord got caught on the tire instantly cutting the 3.5mm jack off the headphone. Worst part is that these headphones aren't mine. I have to return it in a week. Is there any way I can to to get the cord replaced or do I have to get a new one?
knowing Bose, either way you're going to have to spend $1,000
Acquire a 3.5mm TRS connector and a soldering iron, and solder on a new connector.

Get a nice replacement jack (knurled chrome with a coiled stress relief looks nice) from Radio Shack.

Find some cheap earbuds/headphones that you don't need and replace the cord with the earbud/headphone cord. You would need a fine-tip soldering iron.
apologize :D
Give them back as they are and when they ask what's wrong with them, freak out and say "What did you do!?"
Bring them to some electronics guy, it's an easy fix, you just need a replacement cable or jack (depends on how much cord was yanked off)
I'd fix them if you live near me.
Bury them, leave no evidence. When confronted deny it all. If they catch on, kill them and dispose of the body 30 miles into the middle of the woods, bury them 6 feet under in a bag of lye, come back in a few weeks and collect what bones are left if any, grind them up and dispose of both the tool used for grinding (preferably something manual instead of mechanical to keep things cleanable and no residue can be found) and the bones. Make sure you have a solid excuse to not be the killer, have no trace of a possible motive. Trust me, I watched a few crime shows once, this is how you do it.
i'd like to knowhow to solder this. i have a pair of sennheiser that neednew.wiring.
