I've got it for almost an year now, been running perfectly, but since 3 days it just doesn't turn on anymore. I've had my pc on for like 3 days in a row, i thought maybe that's it. Do you guys maybe have any tips or solutions for this problem? ( BTW, i even tried to turn it on on the laptop of my mother, didn't work. )
WB Mybooks are notorious for suddenly crapping out. disassemble it and take out the hdd, and hook it op to a stationary computer. If you're lucky, it's the power supply that decided to fuck around with you.

I think i'm going to the store with it, but i think they can't fix it, but i don't want a new one, all the data on this is very hard to get back.
There is a technical support sub-forum. Also, have you tried their support page?

How much is on the drives and how important are they to you to get the stuff off. If you say alot and important or something like that, get the case open and get the drives out and hook them up.
