So tommorrow I have a big interview for a fantastic opportunity as a CAD Technician for a building engineering firm focusing on electrical/mechanical construction.
Any Tips or good idea's on what to ask related to CAD.
as for interview tips for a good first impression, these tips should help:
shake the interviewee's hand, do it whenever it feels necessary for you, like when you meet them or when you are leaving
smile, it goes for a long way
whenever the interviewee asks you questions, lean towards them so the questions appear to be interesting to you
have an open body language, don't cross your arms or put them into your pockets
eye contact, shows your confidence. if you keep looking at the ceiling or floor, the interviewee won't even consider you
Reply to negative questions with a positive answer, eg:
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness would be I'm a perfectionist, I'm constantly checking my work for errors or mistakes which means my work can take longer than others. But my high organisational skills make up for this, my work is always prioritised and deadlines are always met.
rather than:
What is your biggest weakness?
I'm really bad at spelling
