Hey Guys, I've been noticing that my computer has been having problems with games, largely with artifacting and freezing. After checking that it wasn't the memory, I immediately
came to the conclusion that it might be the temperatures.

Now, from what I can tell from that picture, it's saying my motherboard is overheating. Is that correct? I was thinking about picking up a new computer case soon, but I need to know exactly
what needs to be fixed, because if it's just my CPU having problems, I'll get an aftermarket heat-sink for it.

Here's my speccy. Temperatures were achieved by stress-testing via Prime95. An immediate difference in temperatures was noticed, although Speedfan was telling me that my CPU temps were fine (I've been told that up to 70 Celsius is acceptable.)
What do you guys think? Bad Airflow? I had the side panel cracked open for this too.

There's my idle temps for reference.

So I popped open my case and turned all my case fans to high from medium. This helped a tad, but not a lot. The case's side was already cracked open, so I took it completely off and that didn't really make a difference.
Make sure everything is free of dust: especially the space in between the fins of the heatsink. Also the fan itself. Make sure there is enough air coming in and going out of the case and that non of the in- and outlets are blocked. Be wary of any dust clumped up between the fan and the casing in the front. That spot is usually the worst. Also check if the thermal paste isn't dried out.
Seing his speccy his system is not overclocked. The temps are too high. However, the artifacting and freezing could have numerous causes.

I've been noticing it ever since I got the new mobo and CPU (Went from a P7P55D & i5-720 (2.67 GHz) to a Gigabyte P75-D3 and i7-3770 (3.4GHz).
Even Minecraft is having issues. And often when I get the artifacting/crashing, I'll get a message saying my graphics drivers failed and had to be reloaded, or something akin to that.
And yeah, I'm not overclocked because I have the stock cooling on my CPU. However, due to these issues, I'm considering grabbing the Hyper 212+, and either a new case, or 3 extra 120mm for the case.
I'm actually having similar issue and have Gigabyte mobo as well. Tukimoshi can you adjust the fan speeds for anything?

I've turned up all my case fans to the high settings, but I'm not sure if I can adjust the GPU/CPU Fans.
You should be able to adjust the GPU fan, check this http://www.fanhow.com/knowhow:Change_nvidia_video_card_fan_speed_27843686

Stock Intel CPU coolers have always been terrible, ditch it and get the Hyper212+.
As for Minecraft, if you don't have the performance set to "Balanced" to where it throttles the rendering to about 60 fps, it will try and render as fast as possible and destroy the GPU. While most games have sane performance limiters to prevent working the GPU to death, Minecraft doesn't and will put an extreme load on the GPU and usually cause it to overheat if you don't have the fan on 100%.
The temps seem normal, my idle temps are high and my computer has ran fine for a long time.

Doesn't go much higher than 60c on load.
i7 920 c0 doesn't like to overclock well without loads of heat.

i7-9xx =! i7-3xxx
The old LGA1366 i7s had a 130W TDP, the Ivy Bridge i7s have a TDP of 77W.
I suppose you're right, but 60C under load seems pretty normal for most desktop processors to me.
Ive found speedfan to be horribly unreliable for temperatures.
Might wanna try hw monitor.
