I'm pretty new to building a PC and I am pretty much clueless to motherboards and compatibility with the parts I have and all that, so I was just wondering what a good motherboard would be to go with this build...

Oh, and I don't really care about budget as long as its not ridiculously expensive.
Also, case if that matters in terms of size http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042

Asus motherboards last forever... Just find one that is the right socket, and right size for your case on newegg... Also, get something with PCI-E x16 2.0, not just x16 (no version number) for your video card. Just make sure the ram standard matches up, find one with as many ram slots as you can find, and you should be good to go. These instructions will help you in the future, instead of having to come back to facepunch, although we don't mind the company xD

There's more to a motherboard than total number of DIMMs.
while that is true... there isn't much of a point in buying more than you need, I just state that get one with the basic needs, and then go up from there...
