Build it yourself. It's really not that hard... Also, there are plenty of tutorials available.
I doubt you can find a prebuilt for $500 that can run Modern Warfare 2 well. Heck, spending $500 on building your own and you can find yourself playing games you never thought you could.
Yeah running them, but running them at a high quality? Maybe.
I built a computer recently for $500, I played through Modern Warfare 2 on highest with 4x AA @ 60 fps Let me post what I built https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=16877367 If you can't see it, I can post pics EDIT: It ran Mass Effect 2 on highest settings, also
you need to make the list public...
Then I'll just post a photo Also overclock the 250 EDIT: I noticed there wasn't a DVD drive with that computer. So just get the power supply drummerundrcovr suggested (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031&cm_re=cooler_master_psu-_-17-171-031-_-Product&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction&AID=10446076&PID=3640869&SID=skim629X1198) And get this DVD drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827131061&cm_re=dvd_drive-_-27-131-061-_-Product) And the price should be the same. If you're really desperate to save money, then get this CPU instead (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103688) You still should get a good overclock out of it.
Looks good. I think he could just get the 500 watt variant. the 5770 and amd 250 are quite power efficient. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031&cm_re=cooler_master_psu-_-17-171-031-_-Product
Then I'll just post a photo Also overclock the 250
The only problem is that it is a kinda crappy motherboard and it is ddr2 which is on its way out.
DDR2 is fine.
Amd does not plan to keep the dual memory controllers in future cpu so I would go with ddr3.
http://www.pcityourself.com/building/introduction.php Nice guide if you haven't built a PC before.
DDR2 is fine.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it. But when DDR3 costs the same price, why go DDR2?

Wow what a shit friend.
lol 75 bucks nice friend
I've been known to build computers for a beer.
I've been known to build computers for a beer.
Yeah but that's more of a friendly gesture like "teh build is finished, we must get drunk immediately and celebrate".
No, it's more like "give me free beer and I'll build it for you"
Pssh thats no fun, should convince em to go to bar and pay for everything.
I tried that once. He knew I drink too much for him to be able to pay for everything. Last time I went out me and three other people racked up a $1700 tab [editline]04:08AM[/editline] aka DrunksexV2
Yeah running them, but running them at a high quality? Maybe.
So you expect to run them on high on a 500 dollar prebuilt that's worse in every way?
