• Difficulties with FRAPS + Sony Vegas

Hi Technical Support! I have been having some video related issues after I upgraded from Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 to version 12. Every now and then, FRAPS .avi files don't show up properly in the previewer. If I overlap two videos, they may artifact in the previewer. If I have a lot of clips, say more than 40 seconds of files, random clips will start disappearing in the previewer but are still in the timeline. They are also there if I render. It's just the previewer acting up. I have 6 gb of ram and I never seem to get above 2 when editing films. This only happens with FRAPS .avi files and not with anything else. Are there anyone out there who have experienced the same as me? I'd love a fix as editing FRAPS video suddenly got a lot harder as I cannot actually see what I'm doing, most of the time. :v:
Usually when that happens I save the file, restart Vegas and then reload the save. Not really sure why that happens though. Haven't found any real fix either.
