• Oculus VR will not have a booth at E3 this year

It seems like a lot of major industry players are just holding their own events these days. Nintendo has Nintendo Connect, Oculus has Oculus Connect, and now even EA is holding an EA event the same week of E3, separate from the actual conference. Games industry critics have been downplaying the importance of E3 for a while now, I wonder if those prophecies are finally coming true.
Tbh neither me nor anyone I know give even half a damn about those separate conferences so I doubt the general public will. People like a central hub of announcements, not 12 spread around

Physical space at a conference probably isn't as valuable as the gaming news cycle.
