GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 - € 429,-*
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 - € 107,90*
RAM: GeIL 4 GB DDR3-1333 - € 38,99*
Motherboard: ASRock 870 Extreme3 - € 71,90*
HDD: Western Digital WD6401AALS - € 57,90*
What do you guys think?
You're spending way too much on the GPU compared to the CPU (so you'd experience some pretty big bottlenecking). I'd recommend a 570 instead of the 580, and a 2500k (with a compatible mobo) instead of the 955.
i'm not a big Intel fan. so i'd rather stay with amd. as for the gpu you might be right

lol
amd is certainly better at lower price ranges, but with your budget you should just deal with it and go Intel
amd is indeed best bang for buck

http://www.alternate.de/html/solrSearch/toArticle.html?articleId=838260&query=xfx&referer=detail&link=solrSearch%2Flisting.productDetails cheaper, seasonic based, modular and still enough for two 580s
and spinpoints because they're faster and more reliable than seagate's
The spinpoint F3 is two 500GB disks stuck together, so it's pretty fast.
I removed the Scythe Mugen 2 Rev.B SCMG-2100, it would take way to much room in the midi tower
