Goddammit I really, really,REALLY want this game but im not inerested in the One. Butthen again,I bought a 360 just for Forza 4 so.... Edit: zachPl why am I dumb for not wanting to buy another console that clutters up my bookcase, just like I dont want to buy a Ps4 or WiiU? Oh yeah,I used one and not interested in the same sentence. Sorry for offending you.
It looks exactly like Forza 4..
It looks exactly like Forza 4..
They really shouldnt have the first direct feed video be of both a track AND car from forza 4,no.
It looks exactly like Forza 4..
It looks a lot better than it did in Forza 4, however Turn 10 still haven't perfected their graphical realism. Everything still looks so bright in Forza. All the mirrors are still rendering at 30fps, too.
Jeez, those reflections and textures and models and lighting and everything look quite nice. If next gen non-simulation games look nearly that good, it is definitely going to be a good generation.
that's a really nice looking skybox
It looks exactly like Forza 4..
No? It looks better in almost every regard. The reflections are much better, the sunlight is more realistic, and the environment is far more detailed. There's volumetric fog and other effects that were lacking in FM4. It looks better in motion than FM4 looks when using the "big shot" picture mode which sets the resolution to a crazy 4000x3000 and ups the anti-aliasing.
It looks exactly like Forza 4..
Not really. Everything has a more....crystalline look to it in Forza 5. The cars are a lot clearer, and the backgrounds are much more detailed.
Better skybox and reflections, that's about it. Not denying that it looks nice, though. Thing is with Forza games is that once you've stopped moving the game looks terrible, it becomes obvious that all of the details are simply part of the skybox and any geometry that there is is incredibly low poly. PC sim games like Project CARS don't have that problem. It's to be expected considering it's on a console though. Also I noticed that there are marbles on the track. That wasn't in 4 so it's a nice addition. Although it doesn't really make much sense unless you're in an F1 race or something else that burns through rubber so quickly... It'd ruin immersion a bit if this was present during a race with Ford Fiesta's or something.
