I need help!!! I have a hard drive (SATA 3.0gbps) running on Windows XP home 32-bit edition, and i am not sure if i can get it to run with a new processor and motherboard with 4gbs of ram. I am in desperate need of an answer, and i'm not sure what to do. I am currently running an intel celeron d 352, and i will install these :

Soo, yeah. I need answers B4 Christmas.

You'll need to reinstall windows im pretty sure, but yes.
:suicide:
Yeah op. At worst, you'll need to reinstall.
Your computer can be called a PC, it cannot be called a CPU.

The internet tough-guy facade will never, EVER work here on Facepunch. And the fact that you're questioning whether or not he knows the difference between such monumentally different terms in a thread in which YOU asked a monumentally ill-informed question is not only ironic, but downright stupid. I'm quite sure he DOES know the difference, and I'm quite sure your response was unnecessary and irrelevant.
Seeing as how your answer requests a response "b4 christmas", I would surmise that you are far too young to be building computers for yourself anyway, and if you are, then it's no surprise you can't answer such questions for yourself.

To answer the question, of course the HDD will work. As long as the motherboard supports IDE (If the HDD is an IDE model) or SATA (If the HDD is a SATA model)

Its just that I've been building with new disks for friends and such, but now I wasn't supplied with the O.S. installation disk. I worded my question badly. :P
You probably could keep the old one and have them both hooked up so you can boot off of your old drive, still have all of your information, and have the second drive for everything else.
you will probably need new ram as Celerons are paired with DDR2 400mhz or DDR 400mhz
