• Will these graphics cards work in my computer?

I want one of these, and I'm pretty sure they're right. I have an Intel Pentium 4 (yeah, shit, I know) and I looked at the slot in my computer and at the thing on the card and everything and they're like perfect. And my motherboard is PCI and the card says PCI. Whats your power supply?
Whats your power supply?
Where do I find out?
Open you computer and tell me how many watts the PSU has.
Whats your power supply?
You mean WATTS your power supply? :v:
Open you computer and tell me how many watts the PSU has.
Well it's a bitch to open up. It's a Sony Vaio PCV-RS610, what's the default psu for that? I tried finding what it is but can't.
if it's the same as http://www.amazon.com/Sony-PCV-RS610-Desktop-Pentium-Hyper-Threading/dp/B00029YIMK then apparently it has an AGP port which is much better than regular PCI and gives you much more choice open the case, find out the power supply and take a picture of the expansion slots it has

Are the expansion slots just where the cards go right?
Its a 300W power supply.
Is that good enough? Oh, and I gotta open up the comp and take some pics now, I'll be back in 5 minutes. If it is AGP, can some one give me links to some good ones I can run CS Source at high on for under a hundred dollars?
3870 agp

[editline]09:41PM[/editline] I know, it's dirty, I'm gonna clean it when I upgrade.
Yes those were what you were supposed to take a picture of. You have an AGP GPU port, so you don't have much room for upgrades as far as modern equipment goes. 3870 is still pretty decent, you could get one of those.

And can you link me to it on newegg? I can't seem to find any thing about it.
Can't find an AGP 3870, but here is an AGP 3850. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102730 It should run CS:S on high, and probably TF2 near high. Of course that also depends on your other parts. There is so much that goes into a computer that I couldn't reliably tell you whether or not it'll run smoothly.

Well thank you I'm ordering one right now. Is the warranty to return for refund for any item?
Usually, yes.
No wait don't order that yet. I'm not sure if your PSU will be quite enough, but this would be much better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125281
No wait don't order that yet.
Shit I already did.
Shit I already did.
Oh well, nevermind then :V
Oh well, nevermind then :V
Sorry. Was it wrong or you just had a better card in mind? Oh ok. I'm looking at it. If I want it I'll just send the one I ordered back. [editline]11:41PM[/editline] Wait, the one buttsex recommended needs 450W or more. I only have 300W. Well, I guess I'll have to buy a new one.
Sorry. Was it wrong or you just had a better card in mind? Oh ok. I'm looking at it. Will I be able to run the card with my PSU?
Will I be able to run the card with my PSU?
Should be fine, even if you have a dimestore PSU.

[editline]11:50PM[/editline] Oh, and will I able to run GMod as well? I would be thing that, but you never know.
Those FPS benchmarks above are for TF2, so I'd assume Gmod would be perfectly fine.
Sexy. Well thanks for the help everyone. I guess this is the end of the thread.
just get a 4650 AGP and a gig of ram
just get a 4650 AGP and a gig of ram
I can only spend 100. And I already bought it
