Fucking love CD Project RED!
Just bought it for cheap moments ago and now see this thread now. Totally worth it for 6 bucks. And more too because it's a great game.
It comes out on sale just as I beat the first Witcher game. If only I could afford it now..
I just bought it, and found out it doesnt have a code for steam. fuuck..

I want to try Outcast, anyone played that?
Do you need to have played Witcher 1 to fully enjoy Witcher 2?
Do you need to have played Witcher 1 to fully enjoy Witcher 2?
To FULLY enjoy it? Yes, the story continues right after Witcher 1 and there are many recurring characters and references to the story of the first game. You don't need to play it, but you do get slightly more out of it if you know what happened in Witcher 1. You can import your Witcher 1 save also which gives you some minor starting bonuses and some of your decisions from the first game carry over. These decisions don't really affect the story of Witcher 2 in any way though, they just slightly alter the dialogue from time to time.
