• Do .apng's work on faceboook?

Sup FP, I was on Facebook today and tried to add a .gif as my profile picture. As I assumed it didn't animate correctly. Although browsing Facepunch today I see that regular users using .apng's as their avatars seem to work perfectly. So has anyone had any success with .apngs on Facebook?
I don't have a Facebook, but I can tell you that one way to make GIFs/APNGs much more likely to work with a website is to resize them to the required size BEFORE uploading them. A lot of the time when a website resizes an image it does a real shit job. I.e. Facepunch destroys avatar transparency when you upload an image greater than 80x80
I don't know because I haven't tried. If you really want to know, why not just try it yourself? I'm sure there are some APNG galleries somewhere if you look.
No, Facebook tends to compress images as you upload them which would likely break the aPNG and just leave the first frame.
