When am I going to be buying this: November Buying from: Any UK website (Probably overclockers or scan) Budget: It's not much of an issue, but I'd like to keep it as low as possible (For instance, I wont be wanting an i7 920 with dual 5870's etc.) Ok, here is my build so far. I'd like to hear what you would change etc. Core i5 750 2.66GHz (Lynnfield)(Socket 1156) Asus P7P55D Pro Intel p55 DDR3 Motherboard Sapphire or XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024mb GDDR5 Graphics Card Corsair HX 750W ATX Modular PSU Coolermaster HAF 922 Case Western Digital Caviar Black HDD - GB UNDECIDED Corsair 2x2GB 1333MHz XMS3 RAM Windows 7 Home Premium I already have an optical drive. Also, any recommendations on decent 20-24" monitors are welcome. Thank you in advance and please say if i have missed anything out. Overclockers

i5 is better bang for buck
i5 is better bang for buck
Thanks, do you know of any decent HD Monitors? Probably around 24"
I have sound http://dabs.com to be good for monitors. This looks good: http://www.dabs.com/products/benq-24--g2420hd-5ms-dvi-hdmi-hd-lcd-tft-65FD.html?refs=412800000
Any info about the PSU. Will 750W do?
Any info about the PSU. Will 750W do?
That's fine, it's actually a bit overkill for that system, unless you're going to be adding a second card in the future.
That's fine, it's actually a bit overkill for that system, unless you're going to be adding a second card in the future.
What would you say is adequate? I probably won't be adding another card in any time soon.
What would you say is adequate? I probably won't be adding another card in any time soon.
Just stick with the 750, it's fine. I meant that it's more than good enough.
For a Hard Drive a good 500Gb would do great. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-245-WD&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=940

It sounds like a very good processor.
600w psu is all you need.
600w psu is all you need.
Would that still be ok if i were to add another 2 HDD's?
Would that still be ok if i were to add another 2 HDD's?
Yeah.
