So I randomly got a folder that has these contents: I can't delete this shit because it's telling me access is denied, and it's taking up 10 gigs. Any tips?

Inside windows folder....don't delete shit buddy. Access is denied for a reason.
Inside windows folder....don't delete shit buddy. Access is denied for a reason.
This, But I'm still wondering what it's doing in the Windows Dir? Also if you have a space issue, check and see what you have downloaded/installed/ Laying around like a lazy bum. You may also want to run Defraggler, Fragmentation can take up space aswell.
I smell Pirated Windows!
So you assume someone just took the contents of C:\, zipped it up, and uploaded it for others to download?
So you assume someone just took the contents of C:\, zipped it up, and uploaded it for others to download?
Of course they did. This is also how linux works. You download the source code, tell your bios to run main.c and you have linux [editline]20th July 2011[/editline] i thought you knew about windows whats wrong with you

Download Unlocker and unlock+delete the folder only if you're sure it isn't vital to your system.
Download Unlocker and unlock+delete the folder only if you're sure it isn't vital to your system.
unlocker probably wont work because it might be permissions that are locking the files down. try deleting it in safe mode or from a Live CD/USB.
Forgive me if I'm abit late on thinking about this This idea came to me while I was on the way to the my shower You should be able to do this with your folder and use it to take control. It's under properties. I wouldn't imagine it being important since it is in your download folder so delete away. I'm sorry I didn't think of this earlier. The Live CD/USB option would be the only thing left to do if this doesn't work.
that probably wont work. you would have to change permissions for each individual file.
that probably wont work. you would have to change permissions for each individual file.
In Windows, you have the option to change permissions for just that folder or everything in it including the folder itself.
Guys, my computer fails miserably at folder permissions. FINAL VERDICT: Reburn
