So yesterday my brother turned off my pc through the power button on the pc. And today when i turned it on the resolution was set to 640x480 so i changed it to 1600x1050.
After that i turned on minecraft and there was bad drivers problem confused i looked at dxdiag and shi- there is no video card on the display tab. I checked device manager and my 9600 had and Code 43 error.
So is it dead because i tried taking out the gpu reinstalling drivers etc..
It's unlikely that turning off via the power button was responsible for the death of your GPU.

One of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner.
If you have already run the Troubleshooting Wizard, you might want to check the hardware documentation for more information about diagnosing the problem.
